In the tremendous turnover of players during the war years, centre Fisher (first name unknown) showed up well for Featherstone Rovers towards the end of the 1941/2 season, including a try-scoring debut. Noted for his strong running, he appeared in a further two matches the following year. Other than that, we have no information about him.
