Locally based second-row forward Albert Tasker may have been playing Junior or Intermediate rugby in Featherstone in the 1920s. His older brother Herbert had played for Rovers in 1924 before joining Bramley. By 1930 Albert Tasker had moved to Bradford Northern, where he joined his two brothers Herbert and Harry. In early 1931, Albert was loaned to his hometown club Featherstone Rovers for two matches.
