Biography
Born at Featherstone, Alf Barraclough played at centre for his hometown team immediately after the end of World War Two. After less than a year in the first team he was sold to Hull KR. This persuaded his younger brother Jim, a second-rower, to sign for Hull KR too. Alf later moved to Blackpool and played for Liverpool Stanley.
