Andy Bailey signed for Featherstone Rovers as a teenager and slotted straight into the first team in his debut season. Hull FC stepped in and signed both Andy and Richard Whiting at the end of 2003, but Bailey's progress was stymied by injury. After a loan spell at Castleford, he played for Oldham, Rochdale and York before premature retirement. He coached at NCL level and became a successful lawyer.
