Local full-back Craig Moss made his Rovers debut as a teenager and showed enough promise to get an extended first team run with incumbent Nathan Batty suffering a serious knee injury. Although not strongly built, Moss had plenty of pace and good positional sense. With Rovers relegated to National League Two in 2006, Moss lost his place to Nathan Larvin and had just won his spot back when he was hit with a two year ban for using performance enhancing drugs. Still a young player, he rebuilt his career at Keighley and went on to win international caps for Wales through his heritage.
