Damian Munro came to Featherstone on a month’s loan from Widnes at the end of the 2002 season with a view to a 2003 contract. He grabbed six tries in those four matches, showing pace and finishing ability but was unable to agree terms, and for 2003 he signed for Leigh. His career spanned 14 seasons at a variety of clubs, playing over 300 games and scoring more than 200 tries.
