Biography
David Cartwright was signed by Featherstone Rovers from Pudsey RUFC midway through the debut senior season of 1921/22. Remarkably, his first team debut was his first ever game of rugby league, but he settled in well. His second year was more difficult and Boxing Day 1922 was Cartwright's final first team game.
