Ian Brown was a tall, angular running centre who came to prominence at Sheffield Eagles before signing for Rovers in 2003. He had a good season, grabbing 14 tries, but moved back to Sheffield the following year where he failed a drugs test and received a two year ban. He later played for Hunslet.
