Joe Naidole spent six years at Huddersfield in the Second Division before joining Rovers in our final year in the top flight. A big, aggressive forward, Naidole was the type of hard man every pack needs, but he also showed some skilful touches too. Having played through the Centenary season and the first year of summer rugby, he fell out of favour and moved to Wakefield, the first of a series of clubs where he failed to settle. He had a two-season spell at Batley before his 15 season career finished at Dewsbury in 2004.
