Rovers signed Dewsbury full-back Nathan Graham to replace Australian Michael Rhodes when he went home to Brisbane. Graham had previously played at Bradford, but his reputation was unfairly tarnished when he dropped a number of Bobby Goulding kicks in the 1996 Challenge Cup final. He rebuilt his confidence admirably at Championship level and over two seasons for Featherstone he missed just a single game. He was a solid tackler on defence, and his bustling running style and eye for a gap served him well, bringing him 21 tries. By heritage, he qualified to play for Scotland, and won 10 international caps and played at the 2000 World Cup. After leaving Rovers, he played at York and at Batley, and after finishing playing he moved into coaching.
