Having coming through the ranks at Wakefield, and having played some rugby union at Sandal too, Tom Hodson burst onto the scene at Doncaster in 2012. He scored 19 tries in 19 games in his debut year, as well as kicking more than 50 goals. Featherstone Rovers signed him up for 2013, and whilst not the biggest winger for the modern game, he showed pace and good finishing. However, Rovers signed Will Sharp, Hodson lost his place and went back to Doncaster. Later he moved to rugby union.
