Reserve team back-rower Wayne Sutcliffe had to wait four years between his first and second appearances for Featherstone. Thrown into the side for his debut as a teenager in 2001, he improved his game in the reserves and got a second chance in 2005. Just 10 more first team chances in 2006 convinced him to try his luck elsewhere and he moved to Keighley.
