Biography
After an ARL career at North Sydney and Wests, prop Wayne Taekata came to Featherstone for the 1992/3 season under coach Steve Martin. A solidly built prop with a good engine, he led from the front as Rovers swept to a Championship and Premiership double. After his arrival he missed just one game, and finished his stay with an appearance at Old Trafford.
