Born and bred in East London, Ade Adebisi quickly made a name for himself coming through the ranks at London Broncos, before joining Hull FC. After a spell at Doncaster he finished the 2007 season at Featherstone. He then moved to Whitehaven before ending his career at London Skolars. His performances as a flying wingman were set into remarkable context with the revelation that he had suffered from sickle cell disease all his life, a debilitating blood disorder which makes a professional sports career an incredible achievement.
