Prop Albert Vete was born in Auckland and signed for the NZ Warriors after progressing through the junior ranks. An impact forward with ball-handling skills, he spent six seasons in the NRL, mostly for the Warriors, but also Melbourne. He left the Storm to come to the UK in 2021 and played for Hull KR. He moved to Castleford in 2023 and was loaned to Featherstone at the same time as Yusuf Aydin, to make his debut on Good Friday at Batley.  After one further game he did not impress and his loan was not extended.  

Of Tongan descent, Albert Vete won two international caps in 2015.
