Gloucester-born but raised in Knaresborough, Alex Foster signed for Leeds Rhinos from Wetherby Bulldogs as a teenager and made his debut in Super League as a teenager. He spent 2014 on loan at London, and 2015 at Featherstone. Big and strong, with good handling skills, Alex played a full season in Rovers’ second-row and developed into a handy player. He would have been a useful player to keep but Leeds sold him to London and a year later he moved back north to Castleford, playing and scoring for the Tigers in the 2017 Grand final.
