Biography
Austin Gill signed for Featherstone Rovers in April 1919 with Rovers at that stage still a junior club. As back up stand-off to Jimmy Williams he played 13 games in Rovers’ first senior season, enjoying an extended run when Williams moved to centre. He was joined at the club in that season by his younger brother Fred.
