Promising young Dewsbury centre Bailey O’Connor was snapped up by Featherstone Rovers for the 2025 season. He made a good start, with a try scoring debut against Waterhead in the Challenge Cup. An injury to Tuimavave gave him an extended run in the side, and he took his chance well before a knee injury of his own halted his progress. Towards the end of the season, he made his comeback and with the squad stretched to the limits, he played the last two games of the year at full-back then stand-off without letting the side down.

When the club went into administration at the end of the year, O’Connor stayed with Featherstone until it became clear the club would be unable to play in 2026, at which point he rejoined Dewsbury.
