Son of Ray and father of Danny, Barry Evans’ life is steeped in rugby league and Featherstone Rovers.  A scrum-half like his father, Barry faced immense competition for a first team slot, not least from Steve Nash, but he was a good squad man who served the A team well in his time. He later played for Bramley. After retiring, he became a coach and in the mid-1990s was the Rovers Academy coach as his son came through.
