Strong running winger Ben Blackmore started out with his hometown club Castleford. After a couple of seasons at Huddersfield he moved to Featherstone in 2014 where he received his first steady run of first team rugby. After two seasons he moved on to Sheffield for four seasons, scoring 49 tries in 107 matches and helping them to lift the 1895 Cup at Wembley. He then came back to Featherstone for the truncated 2020 season and immediately made an impact with his strong runs out of acting half-back and some powerful finishing. In 2021 he grabbed 11 tries in 11 matches before a hamstring injury and then a lengthy suspension disrupted his season.
