One of a number of Leeds Rhinos players who guested for Featherstone Rovers on the dual registration scheme in the 2018 season, hooker Brad Dwyer equalled a long-standing Featherstone Rovers club record in the second of three games he played. Coming off the bench in a game against Rochdale, he managed an amazing six tries, matching a feat previously achieved only by Mick Smith in 1968 and Chris Bibb in 1989, and later equalled by Gareth Gale in 2021. Dwyer’s feat was all the more incredible in that he came onto the field in the 21^st minute, had a hattrick within ten minutes, and came off the field in the 63^rd minute with six tries in 42 minutes.
