As the son of former Castleford player Keith, big things were expected of Brad England at Normanton Knights as a junior. He moved from Castleford’s academy to Leeds and then to Salford in Super League without ever playing first team rugby. He then began the familiar round of loan deals, including a short stay at Rovers. He scored on his debut v Bradford, but by the end of the year was at York. He eventually settled at Doncaster.

After bulking up into a second-row forward, he spent three years at Bradford, before moving back to Featherstone for the 2024 season, some nine years after his first spell. Hard working and combative, he put everything into his game, but occasionally gave away one too many penalties. Before 2024 was finished, he was traded to Keighley.
