Brandon Pickersgill signed for Featherstone Rovers from Bradford Bulls for the 2022 season and immediately made a very promising start to his Rovers' career with some tidy defensive contributions from full-back as well as seven tries on attack. The signing of Mark Kheirallah meant Pickersgill lost his first team place and he went back briefly on loan to Bradford where he picked up a back injury just as Kheirallah suffered a season-ending injury with Rovers, a double injury blow which disrupted the season seriously. The following year, with Mark Kheirallah injured, coach Sean Long preferred Caleb Aekins at full-back and Pickersgill left to join Halifax.
