Former St. George and Parramatta hooker Cameron King was a huge coup when he signed for Featherstone Rovers for 2019. Early in his career he had played in the World Club Championship but injuries had hampered his progress. He immediately made his mark at Featherstone with his high work-rate, distribution from acting half-back and he trademark try scoring move close to the line. A neck injury towards the end of the season threatened to keep him out of the playoffs, but he made the final and ended the year as the club’s leading try scorer. He left Rovers for Cronulla in 2020.
