Leeds born utility back Chris Ross started out at Hunslet in 1995 and later played at York and Doncaster. After 12 seasons and over 200 matches he came to Featherstone at the veteran stage as half-back partner to Paul Handforth under coach David Hobbs, with Rovers looking to get themselves out of National League Two at the second attempt. When Rovers signed Andy Kain mid-season Ross lost his first team spot and finished his career at his first club Hunslet.
