Utility three-quarter Connor Wynne joined Featherstone Rovers for 2024. His previous five seasons with his hometown club Hull FC saw him loaned out a number of times, and despite his strong running from deep and deceptively rapid finishing, he had failed to establish himself in Super League. Although he was given the number two shirt at Featherstone, he started the season at centre, then dropped to the bench, before finally getting his first run on the right wing at Doncaster. He hit a golden patch of form with eight tries in three matches, including four versus Halifax, before switching to the left wing where he showed his best form of the year, grabbing another hatrick against Dewsbury. His tally of 21 tries in 23 matches was enough to see him finish the club’s top try scorer for 2024 and win the Supporters’ Player of the Year award. His second season stated badly with a five match ban for punching in a pe-season friendly After that, he enjoyed the benefit of playing on the flank in a Paul Cooke coached team that liked to spread the ball. The year brought him a creditable 14 tries from 21 games. After rumours during 2025 that he was set to join Hull KR, he signed for Bradford for 2026.
