French-born but raised in Australia, international second-rower Danny Divet started at Carcassonne before heading over to England to play at Hull FC. From there he moved to Featherstone. Tall and raw-boned, Divet had the perfect physique for the game, and allied to his ball-handling skills, made him a real handful for opposition defences. He was part of the Rovers pack that almost got to Wembley in 1995, but inevitably when Super League started, that group was destroyed as so many players moved on. Divet went back to France where he played and later coached at Limoux and Carcassonne.
