Danny Baker came over to Featherstone from Canberra in 1997. Primarily a second-row forward, Danny was quick enough to fill in at centre as required and was a regular try scorer. He played and scored at centre in the 1998 Grand final v Wakefield, but after an appearance in the end-of-season Treize Tournoi he headed back to Australia.
