Born in Stirling, winger-cum-full-back Dave Scott made his international debut for Scotland before he played club rugby. As an outstanding player in Hull KR’s reserves he won caps in 2011 and 2012 without ever making the first team. In 2013 he had a year at Featherstone, but played just one game, his club debut against Thatto Heath in a Cup tie, marking the occasion with a try. It was when he left Featherstone for Doncaster that his career took off. In three years there he became a first team regular, proving himself to be a useful goal-kicker, before moving to Batley.
