Dominic Brambani was a familiar figure on the Championship circuit for many years, a tactical organiser and astute kicker for every team he played for. He started at Castleford, from where he came to Featherstone on a seven game loan spell towards the end of the 2005 season. This was a desperate roll of the dice for a club facing relegation, but it was too much to ask a youngster such as Brambani to adapt so quickly to a new team. Rovers were relegated, Brambani went to Sheffield where he really made his mark, before playing a similar pivotal role at Dewsbury, Sheffield again, and Batley.
