Biography
Douglas Armitage was a centre who started at Dewsbury, played two brief games for Wakefield around Christmas 1949 and a year later came to Featherstone. His stay at Post Office Road was even briefer than Belle Vue, a single game in a home defeat against Keighley in January 1950.
