Biography
With both Gary Cooper and deputy full-back Howard Darbyshire out injured, Eddie Wilkins stepped into the full-back role for a long trip to Barrow at the beginning of 1965/6. It was a thankless task, Rovers were well-beaten and Wilkins never received a second opportunity.
