Garreth Carvell had a long and successful career at the highest level, playing over 300 Super League games over 17 seasons at a variety of clubs, but principally Hull FC and Warrington. He won international caps for both Wales and England, as well as Great Britain honours. Featherstone Rovers was his final professional club, managing just five appearances in 2015, before taking on the role of Player Welfare manager. He later became the RLPPA Union representative.
