Originally from Bradford, George Flanagan spent his formative years at Batley, before moving to Rovers for the 2014 season to replace the departed Ben Kaye. With Andy Ellis as starting hooker, Flanagan made some useful contributions off the bench throughout the year. A broken leg put a halt to his career, but he recovered to play four seasons at Hunslet before finally joining his hometown team Bradford.
