Full-back Jack Render played his junior rugby at Castleford, but it was Featherstone who gave him his professional debut in the 2019 season.  In an encouraging debut season he appeared at full-back and also on the wing, where he played in the Grand final against Toronto. A persistent hip injury dogged his progress and he left to join Sheffield in 2021.
