A Dewsbury Moor junior, Jamie Field started at Leeds Rhinos, but his career took off when he switched to Wakefield in 1999. Overs seven seasons and almost 200 games, he was a mainstay of their pack. It was a coup for Rovers to sign him for the 2007 season in National League Two and his experience helped Rovers to promotion. When Daryl Powell took over in 2009 he switched Field from second-row to loose forward. Jamie continued to play his natural strong running and tackling game. Over four seasons he played 86 times for Rovers before retiring to run his own gym.
