Jamie Foster burst into the scene at St.Helens in Super League, a pacy winger who finished off tries set up for him by Matt Gidley. Foster also proved himself to be an extraordinary goal-kicker. He played in the 2010 and 2011 Grand finals, but moved on from Saints as quickly as he had arrived, to Hull on loan, then Bradford. After Bradford, he was in and out of the game, playing some rugby union between loan and trial spells. He played 11 games for Rovers in 2016 under Jon Sharp, and proved he had lost none of his kicking prowess or penchant for stylish haircuts.
