Featherstone Rovers took young Leeds reserve team prop Jamie I’Anson on loan during our spell in National League 2. He played a number of games, mostly off the bench, towards the end of an unsuccessful promotion campaign, and was not retained for 2007. He joined NL2 rivals Celtic Crusaders, but then took the unusual career step of becoming a professional cage fighter. He later played for Oldham and South Wales Scorpions.
