Fijian born prop forward King Vuniyayawa started his professional rugby career with the NZ Warriors in 2021 but moved to England to join Leeds in 2021. After three seasons at Salford, he joined Featherstone Rovers in 2025, adding bulk and go-forward to the pack. After a quiet start, he gradually built up his game time until he became a very useful front-rower, either starting or, arguably more effectively, off the bench. At the end of the year with Rovers in administration Vuniyayawa moved to Newcastle, with an option for their parent club York.

He won nine caps for Fiji and appeared at the 2022 World Cup.
