Biography
Former Leeds full-back Lee Maher joined Featherstone for the 1997 season. Not the biggest full-back, he had pace to trouble defenders, but found it difficult to dislodge first John Strange, then Steve Collins from the number one shirt. He did fill in for a few games on the wing, but then moved on to Doncaster.
