Local product Lee Senior established himself as regular A team full-back without really breaking into Rovers first team squad. He showed plenty of pace, could kick goals and had good positional sense, but wasn’t the biggest physical presence. Three games in the middle of the 1994/5 season were not enough to show his value, and the following season he moved to Huddersfield, although it was later at Doncaster where he enjoyed the most success.
