Deryck Fox’s younger brother Martin played for Thornhill ARLFC at Dewsbury, and had a short spell in Rovers’ A team. He played two games off the bench for the first team alongside his brother at the end of our promotion winning 1987/88 season before going back to the amateur game. 

He did return to Post Office Road in 1997 as part of the Moldgreen ARLFC team that played against a Rovers' side that included his brother.
