Guildford-born Michael Channing came through the ranks at London Broncos, and after three seasons in the capital moved up north to Castleford. Already a Welsh international, he spent three seasons at Wheldon Road before moving to Featherstone for the 2016 season under coach Jon Sharp. A promising start was curtailed by a hamstring injury, and at the end of the season he headed home to London Broncos.
