After playing for Wakefield Trinity’s Academy side, Moris Kamano established himself at National Conference League high-flyers Hunslet ARLFC as an impact prop off the interchange bench. At 22 years old he was given the opportunity at Featherstone Rovers to make his name in the professional game. His unobtrusive style was a straightforward middle approach, making yards with his drives and performing defensive duties. As such, he never let the side down and was a regular feature in the first two thirds of the season. It was somewhat surprising that he was released back to his community club just after scoring his first Rovers try at Wakefield in July.
