Leeds based full-back Nathan Larvin made his Rovers debut at the start of the 2006 season under coach David Hobbs. He quickly displaced incumbent Craig Moss and made the full-back shirt his own. With the disappointment of the club not winning promotion that year, further investment was needed and during 2007 Larvin lost his place to the more powerfully built Loz Wildbore. Larvin then signed for Hunslet where he played three seasons.
