After 14 years and 291 games at Castleford, Nathan Sykes spent the final year of his career at Featherstone.  The hope was that the move would work out as well as the signing of another Castleford front-row veteran Ian Tonks. However, Sykes and Featherstone struggled all season long and the year ended in relegation and Sykes’ retirement.
