Young Leigh prop forward Nathan Wilde joined Featherstone on a month long loan in March 2025. After starting on his debut at home to Bradford, he appeared in three further games off the bench before returning to his parent club. Five weeks later, he was back at Featherstone on a rest-of-season loan, and established himself as a regular member of the team. A keen tackler, he improved his leg drive in the tackle as the season went on, and finished the year as a starting forward with Danny Addy switched to the halves. He received an improved contract from Leigh for 2026.
