After his release by Wakefield Trinity, Rovers offered trials to promising young three-quarter Ollie Farrar for the 2024 season. He was duly signed and made his first team debut off the bench in a Challenge Cup victory at Keighley. Unable to break into the first team, he took a break from professional rugby league to concentrate on his studies.
