Pat Moran joined Featherstone on a short term loan from Championship rivals Oldham in June 2025. An Irish international prop forward, he had previously played for a number of clubs, most notably Rochdale. His midfield workhorse style of taking the ball up and non-stop tackling was just what a short-handed Rovers pack needed at the time.
