Veteran prop Paul Wood had fifteen years’ experience of top flight rugby at Warrington when he came to Featherstone for the 2015 season, taking on the enforcer role. With over 340 games for Warrington, as well as England and Great Britain caps, he brought his experience to bear at Championship level, helping the development of younger front-rowers such as Jordan Baldwinson and Jack Ormondroyd. Sent-off at the Summer Bash against Leigh, he was released from his contract when Rovers failed to make the Qualifying Eights and retired.
